In this role, you will apply lean manufacturing principles to set up and operate press brake machines, performing tasks such as bending, forming, notching, and straightening metal parts based on specifications.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC press brake machines for production runsInterpret blueprints, bend deductions, and job specificationsUtilize CNC press brake controllers to program, modify, optimize bend sequencesSelect proper tooling and machine setupsPerform bending, forming, and straightening operationsInspect finished parts and verify accuracyRecord production data and maintain workflowOperate an overhead crane to move materialPerform operator maintenanceFollow safety and quality standardsQualifications2+ years of press brake setup and operation experienceMinimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalentStrong blueprint reading and layout skillsExperience with CNC press brakes like Ermak, Pacific, Niagara, CincinnatiFamiliarity with a CNC controller and programsKnowledge of tooling, material types, and forming techniquesAbility to work with overhead cranes and handle large componentsStrong attention to detail and qualityBenefits401K with Company MatchHealth, Vision & Dental InsuranceLife & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time Off (PTO) ProgramPaid HolidaysReimbursement for Select Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Aebi Schmidt is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
