Job Description
Operate, set up, and program press brake equipment to produce quality parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires strong setup, troubleshooting, and precision measurement skills with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
* Program, set up, and operate press brake equipment.
* Read blueprints, drawings, and bend sequences.
* Select tooling and adjust machine settings for accurate bends.
* Troubleshoot equipment, programs, and production issues.
* Inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
* Handle complex jobs independently and assist other operators with setups and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
* 1+ year of press brake operation and setup experience.
* Strong blueprint reading skills.
* Experience programming and adjusting press brake equipment.
* Proficient with calipers, tape measures, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment .
* Able to troubleshoot setups and maintain dimensional accuracy.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marne, MI. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
