This role supports high-mix production and new product introduction (NPI) builds by ensuring precision, quality, and efficient execution across changing job requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate press brake equipment for complex forming operationsPerform bending, forming, and shaping of metal components to blueprint specificationsSelect, install, and adjust tooling, dies, and machine parameters for optimal performanceRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsPerform first article inspection and in-process checks using precision measurement toolsTroubleshoot setup issues and make adjustments to ensure part accuracy and repeatabilitySupport high-mix, low-to-medium volume production and NPI buildsComplete routers, job travelers, and production tracking documentation accuratelyCoordinate with engineering, quality, and production teams on part requirements and issuesPerform basic preventative maintenance and equipment careIdentify and communicate process improvements to improve efficiency or qualityMaintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 6S standardsFollow all safety procedures and quality standardsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
