Our client in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Direct Hire Press Brake Operator .
Pay rate: $20-$23/HR (DOE)
Responsibilities:
* Set up, load, and run press brakes and other metalworking gear safely.
* Read blueprints and engineering drawings to handle both simple and complex bending jobs.
* Machine setups, including custom punch tweaks and specialized tooling combinations.
* Check parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges throughout your shift for quality.
* Handle basic routine maintenance to keep the machines running smoothly.
Requirements
* At least 2 years in manufacturing, with 1+ year specifically operating a press brake.
* Hands-on experience with press brakes or metal folding equipment.
* Comfortable reading and working off technical blueprints and spec sheets.
* Skilled with basic precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
