Press Brake OperatorAs a Press Brake Operator, you will be an integral part of the fabrication team, responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts according to specifications. You will work with plate rolling equipment, interpret blueprints, and ensure precision in measurement tasks.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts to specification.Operate plate rolling equipment to form metal plates into required shapes and curves.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate builds.Accurately measure materials and finished parts using tape measure and caliper tools.Work confidently within the standard (imperial) measurement system.Operate various power tools as needed to complete fabrication tasks.Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials and finished products.Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed.Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop safety standards.Essential SkillsProven experience operating a CNC press brake.Experience operating plate rolling equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficient in using tape measure and caliper tools.Strong understanding of the standard (imperial) measurement system.Experience operating power tools.Certified or experienced in operating overhead cranes (or willing to be trained/certified).Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.Comfortable operating heavy machinery and power tools.Why Work Here?Enjoy overtime opportunities and excellent benefits once permanent. Steel-toed boots are required, with additional PPE such as welding hoods, gloves, safety glasses, and jackets provided.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dothan, AL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
