Press Brake Operator
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Temporary Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to precisely shape metal components according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to contribute to a dynamic production environment

Press Brake Operator Details:
* Temp-to-Hire position
* $22.00 /hour
* Full Time work available
* First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
* Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machine setups and operational sequences.
* Select, install, and adjust appropriate tooling, including punches and dies, for various bending and forming tasks.
* Load and accurately position metal workpieces onto the press brake.
* Operate the press brake machine to bend, form, and shape materials, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process.
* Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to settings (e.g., pressure, speed) to achieve desired outcomes.
* Perform quality inspections on finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and protractors to verify compliance with required tolerances and specifications.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Press Brake Operator Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator, with expertise in operating a brake press.
* Strong ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Proficiency in using a tape measure for precise measurements.
* Capable of performing quality checks with various measuring tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be able to stand for long periods throughout the shift.
* Experience using micrometers and calipers for highly accurate measurements.
* Applicant may be subject to a background check
* Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
