Onsite Contract Management & Operations

Compensation

$225-$275 base + bonus + equity

Location

Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego) — In Person

Reports to

CEO (seat on Executive Leadership Team)

The Mission

This is a PE‑backed portable sanitation platform scaling nationwide through aggressive organic growth and acquisitions. The company already operates multiple branches across Southern California and is rapidly expanding its national footprint. They need a Regional General Manager to own the performance and operations of the entire SoCal region.

This is not a maintenance role. Each branch today has a branch/operations manager with limited P&L understanding. The company needs a business athlete who can step above the branch level, own the regional P&L, drive operational rigor, and integrate future acquisitions—all while sitting on the executive leadership team and helping shape the company’s trajectory.

What You’ll Own

  • Full P&L responsibility across SoCal branches: revenue, margins, EBITDA, and growth targets (~$25M and expanding)
  • Operational oversight of 3 branch/operations managers—raising the bar on performance management, accountability, and financial literacy at the branch level
  • Integration and optimization of acquired branches as the platform continues to roll up
  • KPI‑driven performance management with weekly and monthly operating rhythms
  • Pricing strategy, cost management, fleet utilization, and margin improvement initiatives
  • Customer and contract development—construction, events, municipal, and commercial accounts
  • Team leadership: hiring, coaching, and building a culture of execution across branches
  • Collaboration with the CEO and executive team on growth strategy, M&A integration, and new market entry

What It Takes

  • High achiever in the military with a proven leadership track record
  • MBA from a top business school
  • 1+ years of post‑MBA experience in consulting, investment banking, operations, or a similarly demanding environment
  • Hunger and drive to build—this is a high‑growth platform, not a corporate rotation
  • P&L understanding and business acumen—ability to own a regional budget and make sound financial decisions
  • Ability to operate both strategically (growth planning, M&A integration) and tactically (daily ops, branch‑level problem solving)
  • Leadership presence that earns trust from branch managers, field teams, and executive peers
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast‑paced, high‑change environments
  • Currently in or excited to relocate to Southern California (LA, Orange County, or San Diego)
  • Sanitation or industrial services experience not required —business athletes welcome

Preferred Qualifications

  • P&L ownership or GM‑like role at a PE‑backed industrial services business
  • Experience integrating or operating acquired business units
  • Ability to step into the role and operate from day one with minimal ramp
  • US Military Veteran
  • MBA from a top‑tier program

Why This Opportunity

  • Seat on the executive leadership team of a high‑growth, PE‑backed nationwide platform
  • Real ownership of a regional P&L with significant autonomy to build
  • Equity participation—direct financial upside tied to the platform’s success
  • Acquisition‑driven growth means rapid expansion of scope and responsibility
  • Portable sanitation is a recession‑resilient, essential services business with strong unit economics
  • Veteran‑friendly culture that values discipline, execution, and leadership
