Overview

The Genesis Foundation for Children ensures that its young patients living with rare and complex diseases achieve their full potential through the Feingold Model of Coordinated Care at Mass General Brigham for Children. This nearly 45‑year‑old organization funds and oversees compassionate, family‑centered care that improves medical outcomes while easing emotional, financial, and logistical challenges for families.

The Foundation’s next leader will build on this legacy, scaling its impact to benefit thousands of additional families. The President/CEO will professionalize strategy and expand revenue streams, leveraging the partnership with one of the nation’s top healthcare systems to realize enormous growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to promote the organization’s mission and achieve core operational objectives.
• Strengthen and diversify the revenue base, including generating significant revenues and expanding revenue streams.
• Enhance programmatic infrastructure and scale impact to benefit thousands of additional families.
• Serve as a public‑facing ambassador, building long‑term personal relationships with families, donors, partners, and the nonprofit board.

Qualifications

• High‑level experience generating significant revenues in a nonprofit environment.
• Operational experience and understanding of complex healthcare programs.
• Proactive leadership and ability to partner with nonprofit boards of directors.
• Passion for mission‑driven work and ability to inspire stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 – $175,000, commensurate with experience.
