President

Trocaire College seeks a mission-driven and inspirational leader to serve as its next President. As a Catholic institution rooted in the Mercy tradition, Trocaire is dedicated to educational excellence through exceptional teaching, compassionate service, and a steadfast commitment to the Common Good. The College prepares graduates to make meaningful contributions to their families, professions, and communities, fostering a more just, compassionate, and hopeful future. Trocaire is a private, career-oriented Catholic college that empowers students with the resources and supportive environment needed to achieve their academic goals. The core mission is to allow each person to be a valuable contributor to the workforce needs of the community. Trocaire offers bachelor’s, associate, and certificate programs, as well as workforce development programs in healthcare, veterinary sciences, business, and technology. Trocaire ranks in the top one-quarter of colleges and universities for return on investment by Georgetown University and is designated as an Opportunity College and University by the Carnegie Classifications with a Higher Access, Higher Earnings classification.

The College seeks an accomplished, mission-driven leader to guide the institution through an important period of opportunity and transformation. The next President will possess the strategic vision, financial acumen, and decisive leadership necessary to strengthen the College's long-term sustainability while advancing enrollment growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and enhancing organizational capacity. As the visible face of the institution throughout Western New York, the President will be an effective storyteller and ambassador who elevates the College's visibility, communicates its distinctive value and transformative impact, inspires confidence among internal and external stakeholders, and secures the resources necessary to ensure that future generations of students continue to benefit from a Trocaire education. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking leader who embraces innovation while remaining grounded in the College's Catholic and Mercy mission.
