Preschool Instructional Assistant Part-Time

QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint card TB test, First Aid/CPR, and Food Handlers Card (some items can be obtained after hire)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Provides care and instruction to promote academic and social/emotion growth Monitors children's behavior and safety inside and outside of the classroom Assists with clean-up and other related tasks following daily activates Prepares classroom for activities, including creating lessons and preparing materials Creates bulletin boards, maintains materials and supplies, contacts parents and may make copies May attend in-service training sessions Performs other duties of a similar nature or level
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures Knowledge of applicable Cartwright School District and departmental policies and procedures Early Childhood Development Monitoring and assisting children with activities Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the public, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
