Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional)
Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Thursday 7.5 hours per day (1/2 hour unpaid lunch) Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional) position for employment for the school year. Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools. Childcare experience preferred. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, minimum of an educational aide certificate, prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool, demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved, courtesy, tact, understanding of young people, desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students, and knowledge of CPR, First Aide and Communicable Diseases.
