Prep Supply Associate
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Prep Supply Associate to join their team. As a Prep Supply Associate, you will be part of the Production Support Department supporting the warehouse and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Prep Supply Associate
Location: Newburyport, MA
Pay Range: $19.74 per hour
Shift: 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Pull and "kitting" ingredients for production to ensure smooth manufacturing processes
- Apply FIFO methodology, noting LOT numbers accurately
- Complete all DSI transactions daily to maintain inventory accuracy
- Provide packaging supplies and support warehouse operations
- Operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, and electrical hand trucks safely and efficiently
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent
- English reading and writing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift
- Previous forklift experience required
- Experience using RF scanners and working in a warehouse environment with inventory and material handling
