Prep Server

Prep ServerSAGE Dining Services® is seeking a reliable, full-time Prep Server at a private school to join our food service team in Brookline, MA. This fast-paced kitchen prepares meals daily for up to 400 students and staff, requiring efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and meeting food safety standards. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and a passion for quality food is essential.Typical work week is Monday -Friday, 7:00 am- 3:00 pm.The ideal candidate has their own transportation, as this location is not accessible by public transportation.Pay Type:$21.00 - $23.00 HourlyTime Commitment:Full TimeMust work catering events:Some of the timeMust work catering weekends:RarelySummers offBenefits for full-time positions. Mission based company with values you trust.Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).Assist in training new culinary Team Members.Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
