Prep Cook

BOH PREP / LINE COOK — FULL TIME

Moo’s Craft Barbecue is looking for a dependable, hardworking Prep / Line Cook to join our BOH team in Los Angeles.

We’re looking for someone we can count on — someone who shows up on time, works hard, stays consistent, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn and grow with our team.

This is a full-time position with 35–40 consistent hours per week , working a combination of prep and service shifts. Weekday and weekend availability is required. Candidates must be able to prioritize and consistently maintain their schedule with Moo’s.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base pay: $20.00 per hour
• Plus tips — recent tip earnings typically bring total hourly compensation to approximately $32–$35+ per hour
• 35–40 consistent hours per week

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare food according to Moo’s recipes, specifications, portion controls and quality standards
• Complete daily prep and production in a sanitary and timely manner
• Work assigned kitchen stations during service
• Use proper knife skills and food preparation techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workstation
• Follow proper food handling, labeling, storage and rotation procedures
• Multitask and work efficiently while maintaining consistency and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH team members
• Support other team members and jump in wherever needed
• Help maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment

Applicants must be comfortable working on their feet for several hours at a time and able to lift and carry approximately 30–60 lbs. when necessary.
