Job Overview
A law firm seeks a counsel attorney with eight or more years of experience in high-exposure premises liability and catastrophic injury defense litigation to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. The candidate will defend large commercial enterprises in premises liability matters, including wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims.
Duties
- Defend resorts, security and events contractors, and product manufacturers in high-exposure cases.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including dispositive motions and expert-intensive discovery.
- Conduct depositions and participate in trial proceedings.
- Engage in community activities as part of the firm's commitment.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of relevant litigation experience.
- First-chair or significant second-chair trial experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Admission to practice law in Nevada.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
