Special Education Teacher
Columbia, SC and Surrounding Areas
Up to $51/hour
Position Details:

  • Duration : August 10, 2026 - May 28, 2027
  • Hours : Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 37.5 hours/week
  • Caseload : PreK or Elementary - Autism, Multi-Cat, or Moderate Disabilities Classroom
  • Required : Active SC Special Education Teaching Certification

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support Prek or Elementary learners
  • Implement behavior management strategies and positive supports
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation for compliance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
