Prebill Specialist I

Working remotely on a full-time hourly basis, the Prebill Specialist I will verify prebill information, including patient demographics and payor details, to ensure accurate transport claims prior to coding. Key responsibilities: Utilize system tools to locate and verify insurance and patient demographic information Accurately enter patient demographics and select appropriate modifiers and payors for transport claims Participate in Prebill Huddles and consistently meet or exceed daily production and quality goals Required qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ year of revenue cycle management experience preferred Working knowledge of health insurance verification and understanding of major payor groups Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of state regulations and payor guidelines Self-starter capable of managing responsibilities in a remote environment
