A well-established plaintiff-side personal injury practice is seeking an experienced Pre-Suit Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys working directly with clients, managing cases from intake through settlement, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-moving legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout the pre-litigation phase of personal injury matters
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress and treatment updates
- Request, organize, and review medical records and supporting documentation
- Coordinate no-fault claims and related case requirements
- Prepare settlement demand submissions and assist with negotiations
- Track liens, disbursements, and settlement-related documentation
- Maintain accurate case records and deadlines within the firm's case management system
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of recent personal injury paralegal experience focused on pre-suit matters
- Strong understanding of medical record collection, claims processes, settlements, and client relations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed approach with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset and strong professional judgment
- ***Experience with Litify is highly desirable***
- Spanish language skills are a plus
