Pre-Sales EngineerThe Pre-Sales Engineer is an integral part of the sales process providing pre-sales technical knowledge, presentations and proposal development. Works closely with sales managers, build customer relationship and prospects as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements. Need a results-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving sales.Develop product solutions to various customers based on company product portfolios and customers business model and competition environment to address customer's specific needs, and effectively communicate those solutions to customers.Manage customers RFIs, RFPs responses and handle corresponding clarifications via working with HQ, sales and other teams to capture near term product sales opportunities;The Pre-Sales Engineer will also have project related responsibilities during the proposal to project transition phase.Support the Director of Business Development in a sales engineering capacityDevelop designs and solutions for potential customers and prospectsGathered customer requirements and goals, translated them into relevant communication solutions using emerging technologiesPresent solutions to prospects and customersAssist pursuits by gathering as much information as possibleCoordinate proposal production, review and delivery processPerform RF Site selection, Site Design Walks and Site DesignAssist with proposal design, task estimatingWork with local and corporate staff on all award submittals and pursuitsAssist PMs with interview and presentation preparationDrive a strong design architecture that maximizes performance, link availability, and provides redundancy/diversity while also meeting budgetary objectivesWork with groups in office to market services to clients by preparing office presentations and marketing materialsInterface with Technology Development, Network Planning and vendors to recommend and evaluate new technologiesWork closely with vendors to accomplish hardware / software implementations within a timely mannerMaintain a high standard of support for the customerMaintain a positive attitude, and project a high level of professionalism on behalf of IS to the customerMinimum Experience and Educational RequirementsBachelors Degree in Engineering or related fieldSix years experience in professional services industry, including Engineering, Information Technology or relatedMust have strong communication (written and verbal), writing and organizational skills.Experience developing promotional materials (brochures, flyers, other graphics)Strong skills in computer applications such as: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, PowerPointAdditional certifications in one or more of the following is desired: Client, Nokia, Cambium, Extreme( Zebra), Cisco, Brocade(Ruckus)Travel within the region and/or throughout the country is requiredMust maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving recordMust pass an extensive background check and/or drug screening testsMust have or obtain OSHA Construction Industry 10-Hour DOL CardNetwork or RF certifications are a plus.Organizational StructureReports to:Executive Vice President - Sales and MarketingDirect Reports: NoneAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
