Pre-Litigation Attorney – Plaintiff Personal InjuryDirect Counsel is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney – Plaintiff Personal Injury to join a growing and highly successful plaintiff-side personal injury practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys client advocacy, case strategy, and settlement negotiations while managing significant injury cases from intake through resolution.The ideal candidate will have strong plaintiff personal injury experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Responsibilities:Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlementConduct liability and damages investigations to evaluate case valueDraft and review demand packages, settlement communications, and other legal documentsNegotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counselDevelop case strategy to maximize client recoveryMaintain strong client relationships and guide clients through the legal processCollaborate with case managers, legal assistants, and litigation teamsEnsure an outstanding client experience while efficiently managing a caseloadQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive attorney license and good standing with the applicable State Bar5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferredStrong knowledge of California personal injury laws and proceduresExcellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and client counseling skillsProven ability to manage a high-volume or high-value caseloadHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environmentBilingual English/Spanish is a plusCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $85,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experienceMedical insurance401(k) with 4% fully vested safe harbor employer match12 paid holidays annually10 paid vacation days annually6 paid sick days annuallyProfessional development and continuing education supportRegular team events and firm-sponsored gatheringsCollaborative, growth-oriented work environment with advancement opportunities
