Pre-Construction Estimator/SpecialistThe Pre-Construction Estimator/Specialist plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers and generating detailed estimates and proposals.Estimator will be crucial to the business by aiding in the pricing of services to offer customers the best solution. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter, excels at building relationships, and enjoys quantitative problem-solving.Review specification and drawingsSolicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes.Attend preconstruction site visits (when applicable)Assist with detailed estimates and proposals.Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals.Provide accurate estimates and proposals.Partner closely with our sales, operations and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing.Assist with the selection of contractors.Participate in Monthly project review meetingsQualifications include:High School Diploma or GED3+ years of Sales and/ or HVAC experienceStrong skills in written and oral communication, organization, and time managementPhysical demands include:This involves frequent sitting and computer use.Occasional standing, walking, and reaching.Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.Must be physically able to climb ladders and stairs and navigate job sites to survey equipment.Work may require performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, common allergens, or refrigerants.At EMCOR Services Aircond, you'll be part of a team that values integrity, safety, empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
