Pre‑Anesthesia Testing RN
As a key member of the Central Scheduling Surgery team, you will deliver exceptional patient‑centered care for surgical, procedural, and diagnostic patients. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, evaluating care levels, initiating anesthesia orders, and ensuring smooth patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert direct and indirect nursing care.
- Identify and evaluate patient care needs and appropriate care levels.
- Initiate vital anesthesia orders.
- Collect comprehensive clinical histories and evaluate diagnostic findings.
- Apply online scheduling and nursing documentation programs.
- Provide patients with preparation, education, and essential information for upcoming procedures.
- Build relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and families, acting as a liaison.
- Maintain high customer service and ease of access to hospital services.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with Joint Commission, federal, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Current BLS‑CPR certification.
- Exceptional critical‑thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills and capacity to manage diverse workloads.
- Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Pay Range
$35.18 - $51.01 per hour.
