Praetor 600 Captain – San Jose (KSJC)

What You'll Do

• Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring safe, prudent operation of the Praetor 600 on every flight.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and verify airworthiness prior to departure.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, route conditions, destination and alternates; plan fuel and performance accordingly.
• Ensure full compliance with Solairus policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard passengers, aircraft, and crew; model professional airmanship and exemplary customer service.
• Complete all required trip documents and operational reports accurately and on time.
• Collaborate closely with dispatch/operations and fellow crew members to support client travel needs.

What You Bring

• Total time: 3,000 hours
• PIC: 1,500 hours
• MEL: 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbojet time: 500 hours
• Instrument time: 250 hours
• Current type rating on the Praetor 600 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current First-Class Medical.
• Ability to work in an on-call environment and adapt to changing schedules.
• Completion of ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KSJC, or willingness to relocate.
