Academic Emergency Medicine Partners (AEMP), an independent academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine Clinical Faculty physicians to join the Department of Emergency Medicine. The Department provides Emergency Medicine staffing at George Washington University Hospital, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In addition to providing care across these distinctive clinical environments, the Department sponsors a four-year Emergency Medicine residency program, multiple fellowship programs, and a robust research infrastructure, offering faculty extensive opportunities for teaching, scholarship, research, and professional development.
Faculty Appointment & Compensation
These are non-tenure track academic faculty positions with appointments available at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, commensurate with clinical and academic experience. Salary to commensurate with experience and academic rank. Emergency Medicine residency trained PhysicianBoard Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (ABOEM), or be in the certification process following completion of an eligible Emergency Medicine residency program. Eligible for medical licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
