Power Bi DeveloperResponsibilities:Power BI Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Data Modeling: Design and implement robust and efficient data models within Power BI, optimizing for performance and usability. This includes creating relationships, measures (DAX), and calculated columns.Data Connectivity and ETL: Connect to various data sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud services), and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M language) within Power BI.DAX Development: Write complex and optimized DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to create calculated measures, calculated columns, and perform advanced analytical calculations.Visual Analytics: Apply best practices in data visualization to create clear, concise, and insightful reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key business metrics and trends.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer or a similar Business Intelligence role with a strong focus on Power BI.Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques within Power BI.Strong expertise in writing complex and optimized DAX queries.Proven experience in data connectivity and ETL processes using Power Query (M language).Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.Strong skills in data visualization principles and best practices.Experience in connecting to and working with various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, APIs).Experience with Power BI administration, security, and governance.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Power BI certifications (e.g., Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI).Experience with other BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).Familiarity with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services).Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for data manipulation or automation.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.Experience with implementing row-level security and other security measures in Power BI.Experience with performance monitoring and optimization of Power BI environments.
