Local candidates within the Triangle region of North Carolina are required.Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and visualization solutions.Build enterprise-grade data models, DAX calculations, and accessible reporting solutions.Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models and reporting architectures.Create interactive dashboards that support executive reporting and operational decision-making.Integrate Power BI solutions with Databricks and other enterprise data platforms.Utilize Power Query and ETL processes to transform and prepare data for reporting.Collaborate across NCDIT Transportation teams to establish consistent reporting standards, governance practices, and visualization design patterns.Support Power BI workspace administration, governance, and capacity management.Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations.Conduct training sessions, demonstrations, and webinars for business users.Assist customers with workspace access, data connections, and reporting support requests.Troubleshoot and optimize report performance, data refreshes, and system efficiency.Work with ServiceNow ticketing processes to track and resolve support requests.Required Skills:5+ years of Power BI dashboard and report development experience.5+ years of experience with data modeling and relationship design.5+ years of experience creating DAX measures and calculations.5+ years of experience with Power Query and ETL development.5+ years of experience designing complex reports and dashboards.5+ years of SQL querying, optimization, and performance tuning.5+ years of experience implementing performance optimization techniques.5+ years of strong customer service and stakeholder support experience.5+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience.3+ years of Power BI workspace administration and governance.3+ years of user access management and security administration.2+ years of Databricks integration experience.Strong understanding of enterprise reporting, data visualization best practices, and dashboard accessibility standards.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with Microsoft 365 integration and automation.Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management and support workflows.Experience working within government or large enterprise environments.Familiarity with enterprise data governance and reporting standards.Additional Notes:Candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina.Hybrid work environment with primarily remote work.Occasional onsite attendance may be required based on business needs, meetings, or project activities.First-day onsite attendance is required to receive equipment.Experience supporting enterprise reporting environments and business users is highly desirable.Strong collaboration, customer engagement, and training experience are essential for success in this role.
