Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary international team of engineers on complex power system projects.
  • Contribute to achieving project objectives by delivering high-quality technical analyses and engineering solutions.
  • Perform advanced power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, dynamic stability, and transient simulation analyses .
  • Conduct grid interconnection assessments and evaluate compliance with applicable grid codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop innovative solutions for transmission and distribution networks through feasibility studies, contingency analysis, and network asset planning .
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, present study findings, and provide ongoing technical support to clients throughout project execution.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in power system analysis and electrical network studies.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in the power systems or electrical engineering sector.
  • Fluency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese ; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating power system engineering projects.
  • Academic contributions, including technical publications, research papers, or patents , will be viewed favorably.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard power system analysis software such as PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD , or similar tools, covering both steady-state and dynamic system analysis.
