We are seeking a Digital Process Automation Specialist for a 6-month contract position based in Hampton, Virginia. In this hands-on, project-focused role, you will design, build, test, and implement digital solutions to eliminate paper-based and manual administrative processes. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other functional teams to understand existing workflows and convert manual forms, approvals, emails, and paper-based processes into efficient, standardized digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and implement digital automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand existing business processes and workflows
- Translate business requirements into automated workflows and digital solutions
- Convert manual forms, approvals, emails, and paper-based workflows into efficient, standardized digital processes
- Support the organization's digital transformation initiative to modernize administrative processes
Qualifications
- Required
- Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Automate
- Experience building forms or applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Lists and Microsoft 365
- Ability to understand a business process and translate requirements into an automated workflow
- Preferred
- Experience with Power BI and dashboard development
- Experience with Microsoft Forms
- Experience with process mapping or continuous improvement
- Experience developing approval workflows and automated notifications
