We are seeking experienced technicians with a strong background in diesel engines, power generation equipment, and CAT systems. $39.88- $59.23What You'll Do:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on standby generator systems ranging from 5 kW to 3200 kWDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gas industrial enginesWork with CAT engines and power generation systemsPerform and follow proper procedures for load bank testingTroubleshoot AC/DC control systems and emergency repair situationsRead and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematicsUnderstand and work with automatic transfer switches (ATS) and control logicComplete preventative maintenance and major component repairsProvide excellent customer service to internal and external customersWork independently with minimal supervisionMaintain a strong commitment to safety at all timesWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 3+ years of experience in the backup generator industry or related fieldExperience with diesel engines, generators, or heavy equipmentFamiliarity with Caterpillar (CAT), Cummins, Kohler, or Detroit engines highly preferredKnowledge of Tier 4 / aftertreatment systems is a plusAbility to troubleshoot fuel systems and engine controlsStrong ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagramsIntermediate or higher-level computer skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyValid driver's license with a good driving recordWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation scheduleHigh School diploma or equivalentPay & Benefits:$33.80 – $59.23/hr + OTFull benefits + 401(k)Career growth & paid trainingOne-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Five plus year's heavy equipment experience or equivalent education and experience.Quinn is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V/DVQuinn Group, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, all applicable veteran status or disabled veteran status.
