HKA Enterprise is seeking a Power Distribution Designer II to join our team in Raleigh, NC!
This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in electrical power distribution design who is looking to grow their technical skills and advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop overhead and underground electrical distribution designs.
- Prepare design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for construction projects.
- Conduct field data collection and project inspections.
- Assist with cable, transformer loading, voltage drop, and pole loading calculations.
- Prepare permitting documents and other project-related paperwork.
- Collaborate with clients, customers, and construction crews.
- Follow established safety standards and support storm restoration efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of power distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an office setting and perform fieldwork as required.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn.
