Power Bi DeveloperLocation: Richland, WA 99354 (100% Remote)Duration: 10 months contract with possibility to extensionJob Description:This position is with our Digital Analytics team, enabling critical platforms that effect every employee at the Client. The focus of this role includes the responsibility for the development and administration of BI tools. The complete knowledge of the Microsoft Power BI stack is required.
The main duty of the Power BI developer is to convert raw data into meaningful analysis with the help of interactive, easy to understand dashboards and reports. The work will include developing BI solutions by working with effective teams from multiple disciplines, leveraging technology standards and software development best practices. Our team leverages the Agile methodology for continuous iteration and development.
Work is managed using JIRA and weekly hours will need to be tracked in an existing contractor time billing application. All solutions will be subject to review and correction by staff engineers as well as acceptance by the users of the system(s).This work will be directed by a technical lead and the deliverables may vary based on the needs of the project. Client will have ownership and access of full source code.
Code will be stored in the Client’s code repository. All work will be delivered at a high quality, including source code and software that is well tested, sustainable, and well documented.
