Power BI Developer

Required Experience

• 7+ years of overall professional experience.
• Strong, recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• ERP experience is required; Sage ERP experience is preferred, but experience with any ERP system is acceptable.
• Strong, recent experience working with Finance modules within an ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Connect Power BI to ERP systems and other financial data sources.
• Analyze financial data and create reports supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Develop data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance, and reliability across financial reports.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimize existing Power BI solutions.

Required Skills

• Microsoft Power BI (recent hands-on experience).
• ERP systems experience, preferably Sage ERP.
• Finance module knowledge, including financial reporting and accounting-related data.
• Data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating ERP financial data with Power BI.
• Knowledge of financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience working with finance teams to deliver business intelligence solutions.
