Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for facility electrical power systems, machine power distribution, machine control electronics, and electrical hardware design. This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant electrical systems across the facility while supporting new equipment integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.What You Will Do:Lead and develop a team of electrical power and electronics engineers/techniciansOversee design, installation, and maintenance of facility electrical power systems (480V/240V distribution, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, generators)Own electrical standards, safety compliance (NEC, NFPA 70E, UL, CE), and documentationProvide engineering support for machine-level electrical systems: power distribution, drives, controls electronics, sensors, and wiringPartner with Facilities, Manufacturing, and Automation teams on equipment installations and upgradesLead root-cause analysis for electrical failures, downtime events, and equipment reliability issuesEnsure electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC/electronics interfaces are maintained and updatedManage external contractors, integrators, and vendors as requiredDrive continuous improvement in power reliability, energy efficiency, and electrical safetyProvide capital project support including scope development, design review, and commissioningServe as Electrical Authority Having JurisdictionWe'd Love to Hear from Candidates With:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field7+ years of experience in power electronics design and developmentProven leadership experience in managing engineering teamsStrong knowledge of electrical standards, safety compliance (NEC, NFPA 70E, UL, CE), and documentationKnowledge of analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation toolsMust possess or be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" level security clearanceA Successful Candidates will bring:Experience in manufacturing or nuclear industryProject management experienceFamiliarity with embedded systems and firmware developmentAn active "Q" level security clearancePay Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $125,081 - $208,469. This position is Bonus eligible.
