Powder Coat Painter - Weekend Shift
Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength as a painter on our weekend shift and help build high-quality strength and fitness equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role you'll help produce high-quality finished products by preparing, painting, inspecting, and handling components throughout the powder coating process. This full-time position offers a base wage of $22.25-$24.30 (depending on experience) plus overtime eligibility after only 36 hours worked per week.

Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM)
What You'll Do:
- Prepare, mask, and stage parts for painting
- Operate paint booths, spray equipment, and related controls to apply high-quality powder coat finishes
- Inspect parts before and after painting to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor paint quality and make adjustments as needed throughout production
- Perform routine cleaning, startup/shutdown, and preventive maintenance on paint line equipment
- Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment
- Report equipment issues, supply needs, and quality concerns to the Supervisor or Lead
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support other production activities as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Previous electrostatic powder coating paint experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed and work under schedule and time restrictions with limited supervision
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 2 lbs constantly, 35 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs rarely
- Push/pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead, climb stairs and grasp tools as necessary
- Successfully complete a pulmonary function test and wear respirator as required
