Job Description

Join a rapidly growing manufacturing company specializing in large-scale generator enclosure systems and future emissions-control systems. This role is based in a brand-new facility in Charlotte, NC, supporting an expansion in the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Apply powder coat finishes to fabricated metal components and assemblies.

  • Verify coating quality using thickness gauges and quality testing methods.

  • Collaborate with a team to rotate through powder coat and oven operations.

  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and production efficiency.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Essential Skills

  • Powder coating experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience measuring and verifying coating thickness.

  • Understanding of coating adhesion and cure quality standards.

  • Experience working on metal fabricated products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

  • Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment.

  • Team-oriented and willing to rotate responsibilities throughout the shift.

  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work in a startup environment where processes may evolve.

Work Environment

The position operates in a brand-new, clean, and organized manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC, currently in startup mode with approximately 9 employees. Employees will experience a comprehensive production flow from raw materials to finished products. The work environment involves exposure to industrial curing ovens and rotating tasks throughout shifts due to heat exposure. Leadership is visible and engaged, fostering a supportive atmosphere for growth and operational success.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
