The Center for Favela Studies (CEFAVELA) invites applications for a postdoctoral position to work on the BDC-Favelas project at UFABC. Brazilian and foreign applicants with a PhD obtained within the last seven years are eligible; the application deadline is April 3, 2026.
The project uses remote sensing data to develop data cubes for land use/land cover in favelas, integrating drones and satellites. The fellowship provides a monthly BRL 12,570 plus 10% annual reserve; on-site work is required.
