To support students in their post-secondary journeys, the full-time or part-time Post-Secondary Counselor will provide personalized guidance in a remote setting, focusing on college admissions, career preparation, and utilizing college readiness tools. Key responsibilities Deliver dynamic 1:1 counseling and teaching experiences through credit-bearing courses and enrichment packages Guide students in exploring various post-secondary options, including colleges, vocational schools, and career pathways Assist with the college application process, including crafting personal statements and providing recommendations Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in Post Secondary Counseling, College and Career Readiness, or related fields Advanced Degree (MA, MS, MEd, or higher) in relevant educational fields Comprehensive knowledge of the college admissions process and alternative post-secondary options Experience working with neurodivergent students with learning disabilities is a plus Strong relationship-building skills in a virtual environment
