In this role, you'll work in our manufacturing facility preparing machines for production runs, ensuring quality output, and maintaining efficient operations. Technical Machine OperationUtilize numerically controlled injection molding equipment to perform operations on various plastic resin materialsSet up and operate job-related equipment including molding machines, lift trucks, and overhead cranesEstablish and follow set-up sheets and loading process parameters for optimal productionMonitor process and cycle times to maintain quality and maximize product output2.
Quality Control & TroubleshootingDiagnose and correct problems in set-up and operations of molds, presses, and other equipmentIdentify when parts are produced improperly or when machines malfunction and alert supervisionOperate precision measuring instruments to maintain accurate dimensional tolerances per specificationsMaintain thorough knowledge of industry machinery, techniques, and safety regulations3. Production Support & DocumentationFollow job specifications and design criteria, including verbal instructions for each orderMaintain accurate production and scrap records for all processed materialsCount, package, and label shipment boxes according to work instructionsUse scales for counting parts and weighing boxes for shipmentMaintain an organized and clean work area adhering to safety policiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of related experience in injection molding set-up and processingExperience with plastic processing, system operation, and different plastic materialsProficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement toolsAbility to operate overhead cranes and hi-lo equipmentSkill in reading prints and technical specificationsBasic math and computer skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of injection molding process validations and quality controlDemonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge with hands-on technical skillsShape the Future of Manufacturing with Quickparts – Apply Today!
