Responsibilities

• short-term individual, group, and couples therapy
• psychological assessment
• crisis intervention
• consultation
• outreach and psychoeducational workshops (sometimes after hours)
• clinical supervision and training
• case management as needed
• liaison/consultant relationships
• rotating after‑hours emergency/crisis on‑call duties as back‑up to ProtoCall

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, or related field, or Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
• Applicants must apply for and maintain licensure throughout employment.
• Preferred: APA‑approved training for doctoral applicants, experience or interest in university counseling center services, commitment to proactive student affairs, team‑oriented collaborative approach, broad generalist clinical skills for diverse disorders.
