Knowledge and/or experience in custodial duties and ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, carrying, climbing, etc.) and using equipment (lawn mowers, weed eaters, vacuum cleaners, etc.).
To maintain the facility and to provide a safe, clean, sanitary, and habitable environment for the faculty, student, staff, and community to work and study.

Works with principal and other school personnel to maintain clean classrooms, hallways, offices, facilities, and grounds to include lawn care.
Performs minor repairs to facilities as needed to include but not limited to changing light bulbs, HV/AC filters, some glass replacement, etc.
Consults with principal regarding equipment needs and repairs.
Moves equipment or other school assets when needed.
Performs and/or assists when pre-approved in event or special program set-ups and assists faculty and staff when necessary.
Exhibits positive human relations skills.
Maintains and submits records and reports.
Adheres to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policy, and state and federal rules and regulations.
Engages in personal professional growth and demonstrates professional ethics and leadership.
Maintains proper certification by attending workshop and professional development courses.
Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and ethics, working cooperatively with the Board, the Superintendent, administrators, certificated and non-certificated personnel, parents, and students.
Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication.
Attends all meetings as required by the Superintendent.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
