Job Description
- Operates radiation detection and measurement equipment to capture and record visual representations of radionuclide concentrations in specific body areas.
- Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by a radiologist.
- Reviews patient requisitions and charts with the radiologist before starting exams.
- Explains the nature of tests to patients to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Monitors contaminated articles and bed linens using a Geiger counter to prevent the spread of radioactivity.
- Keeps detailed records of tests conducted, test results, and the usage and disposition of radionuclides and body products containing them.
- Attends in‑services and maintains continuing education requirements.
- Participates in the "Float" pool to assist other areas when not busy.
- Provides patient transportation when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Completion of PET/CT training program.

- 1+ years of position‑related experience (Required)

- Experience in PET and CT (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology (RT‑N)(ARRT) (Required) OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) (Required) AND
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography (RT‑CT)(ARRT) (Preferred)
