He/she is responsible for establishing, directing and ensuring strategy and performance of all programs/projects/initiatives assigned to the Portfolio. The Portfolio Manager ensures the programs and projects are aligned to the strategic plan, facilitates governance, decision-making and benefits achievement. In addition, the Portfolio Manager directs the strategy, governance, resourcing, performance, communication and risk management processes of the E-PMO and Portfolio. Duties include: Effectively manages the portfolio, programs, and projects Governs the pipeline, roadmap, resource assignment, finance, and the processes/standards for all programs and projects across the portfolio Develops, delivers, and supports all required reporting activitiesEnsures all Deliverables meet standards developed or identified by the E-PMOPrepares and delivers briefings to the client and vendorsIntegrates the program and project management methodologies of all involved vendorsTracks the progress and quality of work being performed by E-PMO staffCollaborates with the E-PMO Manager and others regarding project status and issues Ensures the client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective mannerFormulates and implements best practices across teams and offerings Provides consultation on complex projects Ensures that the entire project lifecycle delivery and portfolio management is carried out in accordance with agreed standards Ensures appropriate governance is in place for all projects so that accountabilities and responsibilities are clear Actively engages with stakeholders, ensuring appropriate governance is in place Helps set strategic priorities within financial / technology strategy constraints Models professional project delivery performance and behaviors ensuring that team is meeting/exceeding stakeholder expectations Required Qualifications:Minimum 10 years Professional Experience in a related fieldBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum 6 years of experience Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated E-PMO portfolio management experience directing large complex portfolios of projectsMinimum 5 years of managing E-PMO in the Health and Human Services Industry for a state agency, direct or with a state vendor.Project Management Certification (PMP) Preferred Skills:Preference given for Portfolio Management Certification (PfMP) Organizational experience establishing an E-PMO and training project managers Be adept and sensitive in interpretation and resolution of contractual issues Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Excellent leadership qualities Expert level Project Management skills and qualifications Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $97,132- $200,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
