Gateway Bank AZ is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our team. Duties include managing an existing portfolio of commercial loans, focusing on client relationships, loan covenant management, handling annual reviews, financial analysis, and loan renewals/extensions. The right candidate will have the skills necessary to collaborate with lenders on underwriting, loan documentation, and identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio.

Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Duties & Responsibilities
* Proactively manage a portfolio of loans assigned to you, as well as assist with managing the entire loan portfolio.
* Monitor loan performance, track covenants, manage past‑due items, and assess client/industry risks, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
* Serve as a contact for customers, manage relationship continuity, and identify cross‑selling opportunities for other bank products.
* Analyze financial statements, prepare credit memos, and support lenders with credit requests and due diligence.
* Ensure adherence to all State and Federal regulations, bank policies, and loan documentation standards.
Skills & Qualifications
* 2-3 years working for a commercial bank.
* Strong background in credit analysis, commercial banking, and financial statement analysis.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
* Understanding of credit risk and loan documentation.
