Porter

We're looking for a hardworking and dependable Porter to join our team. This position is essential to keeping our bakery clean, organized, and running efficiently. You'll support our bakers and FOH staff by maintaining a sanitary workspace, washing equipment, organizing inventory, and assisting with general daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, baking tools, sheet pans, and equipment throughout the day.
• Keep production areas, floors, workstations, and storage areas clean and sanitized.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain waste disposal areas.
• Receive, organize, and properly store deliveries.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials as needed.
• Assist bakers with basic prep and lifting when required.
• Help maintain walk-in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support the team with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, bakery, or porter experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
