Pool Surgical Technologist, Endoscopy Center, Per Diem, Varies

Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries. Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures in the endoscopy center.
• Assist surgeon, physician, and registered nurse as directed during procedures.
• Monitor and manage equipment and supplies necessary for surgical cases.

Qualifications

• Degrees: High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper
• Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support
• Additional Qualifications: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program (preferred).
• AST Certification (preferred) or minimum of 1 year (preferred) of extensive experience in the surgical setting as a surgical technologist.
• Endoscopy procedure experience required.
