Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive sleep studies (polysomnography) on patients to diagnose sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and insomnia.
  • Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment, ensuring proper functioning throughout the study.
  • Monitor patients during overnight sleep studies, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety.
  • Educate patients on sleep study procedures and provide ongoing support throughout the process.
  • Score and analyze sleep study data, providing detailed reports to physicians for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in performing and scoring sleep studies is highly preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, diagnostic equipment, and clinical procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
