Role Overview
The BOH (Back‑of‑House) Polisher is a key support position in fine dining or high‑volume restaurant environments. The role is essential for maintaining the standard of excellence by keeping all service stations stocked with clean, polished items and ensuring the workspace is hygienic and organized.
Key ResponsibilitiesStation Support & Maintenance:
Clean, polish, and restock silverware, dishware, and glassware at designated stations.
Keep polish cloths and station tools in good condition.
Hygiene & Sanitation:
Maintain cleanliness in assigned back‑of‑house areas, including dish stations and washrooms.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists.
Monitor restroom supplies and cleanliness, coordinating with management or purchasing as needed.
Operational Standards:
Treat company property with care.
Report low stock or broken items promptly.
Follow all hygiene and sanitation procedures in line with health and safety standards.
Team Contribution:
Support the service team during peak hours.
Follow service standards and protocols as directed by the Head Waiter or Manager.
Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a clean, well‑groomed appearance.
