Policy Research Specialist

Passionate about policy and research, the full-time Policy Research Specialist will analyze legislation and regulatory activity, manage the Policy Map and Scorecard, and support systems change strategies in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Manage the Policy Map and Scorecard by analyzing policy developments and ensuring data accuracy Generate insights from nationwide legislative activity to inform strategy and contribute to internal and external reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support advocacy priorities and enhance the Policy Map and Scorecard Required qualifications 2 years of experience in policy, advocacy, or legislative work, or a JD, MPP, or MPA Ability to analyze and critique policy language, including laws and regulations Experience in making complex policy information accessible to diverse audiences Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail Commitment to survivor-centered advocacy and FreeFrom's mission
