Job Summary/Basic Function
To carry out assigned activities, operations and programs within the police department including routine foot-patrol, traffic control, and crime prevention. Primary and principle duties also consist of the prevention and detection of crime and the enforcement of criminal statutes or ordinances of the state or any of its political subdivisions.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Utah Special Functions Officer Certified(Active status) and Utah Law Enforcement Officer Certified (Active status)
- Valid Utah Driver License required.
Preferred:
- Associate degree
- Some related experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
