Key Responsibilities
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws to uphold public safety and order
- Manage and de-escalate conflict situations using effective techniques
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and investigations for legal and departmental review
- Serve as a leader and mentor to officers, supporting operational effectiveness and community trust
- Represent the department at community events and public safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Florida law enforcement officer certification with active credentials (required)
- Proven experience in law enforcement procedures and conflict resolution
